Kedilerde dirsek ekleminin travmatik lezyonlarının klinik ve radyolojik değerlendirilmesi

Year 2016, Volume: 87 Issue: 2, 20 - 32, 01.04.2016

Abstract

Çalışma, Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Cerrahi Anabilim Dalı Kliniği’ne ön ekstremitelerini kullanamama şikayeti ile getirilen, klinik ve radyolojik muayeneler sonucunda dirsek eklemlerinde travmatik lezyon belirlenen değişik ırk, yaş ve cinsiyetteki 31 kedi üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Değerlendirilen 31 olgudaki 32 lezyonda; humerus’un distalinde 23 kırık (7 distal diyafizer, 5 supracondyler, 2 condyler, 2 condylus medialis’te ayrılma, 1’i condylus lateralis’te ayrılma, 5 intercondyler “Y” şeklinde kırık, 1 intercondyler “T” şeklinde kırık), radius’un proksimalinde 1 kırık (caput radii’de), ulna’nın proksimalinde 4 kırık (olecranon’da), 2 lateral lüksasyon, 1 Monteggia lezyonu ve 1 dirsek eklemi ankilozu belirlendi. Bu olgulardan 1 olguda kapalı redüksiyon, 2 olguda konservatif sağaltım, 7 olguda intramedullar pin, 5 olguda transcondyler pin, 3 olguda çapraz pin, 1 olguda birbirine paralel pin uygulaması, 1 olguda transcondyler interfragmental kompresyon vidası, 3 olguda germe bandı ve 4 olguda amputasyon gerçekleştirildi. Bir olguda akciğer kontüzyonu sonucu ölüm şekillenirken, 3 olguda hasta sahibi önerilen operasyonu reddetti. Olguların 10, 21, 30 ve

Year 2016, Volume: 87 Issue: 2, 20 - 32, 01.04.2016

Abstract

In this study 31 cats of various age, race and sex which was brought to the Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Surgery Clinics, with inability to use their front limb and diagnosed as traumatic elbow joint injury after clinical and radiological examinations. 32 injuries in 31 cases were evaluated and classified as 23 distal humerus fracture (7 distal diaphyseal, 5 supracondylar, 2 condylar, 2 medial condylar separation, 1 lateral condylar separation, 5 “Y” and 1 “T” dicondylar fracture), 1 proximal radius fracture (at caput radii), 4 proximal ulna fracture (at olecranon), 2 lateral luxations, 1 Monteggia fracture and 1 elbow joint ankylosis. 1 case was treated by closed reduction, 2 cases were treated by conservative methods. In 7 cases intramedullar pin, 5 cases transcondylar pin, 3 cases crossed pin, 1 case parallel pin, 1 case transcondylar interfragmental compression screw, 3 cases tension band and 4 cases amputation were applied. 1 case died because of lung contusion and 3 cases owners were refused the surgery. Cases were clinically and radiologically evaluated at 10th, 21st, 30thand 45th days. During this period 14 cases were recovered functionally, in 2 cases joint stiffness and narrowing in extension angle, 1 case function loss, 1 case nonunion, 3 cases plexus brachialis paralysis were determined. 5 cases could not be surveyed
