In this case report it was described that 3 years old Siamese female cat which was bred four times but could not get pregnant, is brought to our clinic for ovariohysterectomy. On clinical examination, the cat was in good general condition, viability parameters were between reference values, and vaginal discharge was not observed. Ovariohysterectomy was performed under the general anesthesia after the routine examination. On macroscopic diagnosis, the size of ovaries was in 1.0 x 0.3 x 0.5 cm and no pathological finding was observed. Cornu uteri were 11.0 x 1.0 x 1.0 cm- diameter and in edematous. A fibrous structure was found 1.5 cm in diameter on the right cornu uteri. Serosal hyperemia and hemorrhage, bleeding areas in the mucosa and submucosa, mucosal villous flattening and edema, widespread increase of connective tissue and the area of mononuclear cells and neutrophils were determined on microscopic evaluation. The variations of structure and form in uterine glands, anisonucleosis in the nucleus and anisocytosis in the cytoplasm of the cells were observed. Chronic inflammation in uterus was established following histopathologic evaluation. No complication was observed after surgery and it is observed that the cat is healthy on close follow up. In conclusion, chronic inflammation of the uterus is one of the causes of infertility in cats. It can also be concluded that it is difficult to make a definitive diagnosis of the infertility with routine clinical examination and there is a need for detailed diagnosis
