Every day, many new concepts emerge in the face of changing and developing situations within the organization. One of the concepts that organizations should consider in order to be successful in these changing conditions is the organizational climate. Organizational climate is the perception that includes the feelings and thoughts of the employees within the management practices. Emotional contagion is a mechanism that complements each other's emotions such as facial expressions, gestures and facial expressions. Therefore, emotional contagion can be expressed as the perception of verbal and non-verbal communication cues of the working person by another person and the process that creates positive results such as success and respect. In the study, the effect of organizational climate on emotional contagion is investigated. The sample of the research consists of 256 municipal employees in Kahramanmaraş. Questionnaire technique is used as data collection technique. The data obtained as a result of the questionnaire are tested by performing reliability, correlation and regression analyzes in the SPSS 23.0 program. According to the results of the correlation analysis, it is determined that the bureaucratic organizational climate has a positive relationship between positive emotions and negative emotions, while the supportive organizational climate and innovative organizational climate has a negative significant relationship between positive emotions and negative emotions. According to the results of the regression analysis, it is determined that the bureaucratic, supportive, and innovative organizational climate affects positive and negative emotions positively. The findings obtained as a result of the analyzes are discussed in the context of theory and practice.
