In patriarchal societies, home care for the elderly person by the family members and inside the household is an accepted behaviour. However, together with reasons such as the rural exodus, economic and socio-cultural changes in the society, the change of family structure from the grandparent family into nuclear family, the increasing participation of women in business, increasing stamina, increasingly aging population have made elderly care by the household harder and has increased the need for nursing homes during the elderly care processes. In this process, the elderly may be violent, both from family members and from the staff of the institution. The study aims to analyse the elderly abuse scenes, which visualize the abuse against the elderly people by the nursing home employees, in the movie ‘Beyaz Melek’. In this context, in the analysis of the movie “Beyaz Melek” a qualitative research method, namely Content Analysis is applied and ageing and how elderly abuse are analysed. As a result of the study, it is observed that the elderly who stayed in the nursing home are unhappy, do not settle in the nursing home voluntarily and are subject to psychological and physical violence by the employees who take care of them in the nursing home.
