Türkiye İşletme Tarihi Araştırmaları Bildiriler İçerik Analizi Bibliyografik Eşleştirme Analizi
The aim of the study is to examine the researchers in the field, the cities that provide information to the field, the topics covered in the research, the methods by which the information produced in the field is created, the most referenced main sources and national and international sources, through the studies produced in the field of business history, which has started to be created relatively recently in Turkey. The aim is to show the points where international business history researches are similar and different in the context of the studied themes, and to try to explain the possible reasons for differentiation on a theoretical basis. For this purpose, the research is designed with a literature review pattern, which is one of the qualitative research methods, and the data are obtained by document analysis method, and the findings are reached by content analysis and bibliographic coupling analysis. The sample of the research is all the papers presented at the “National Management and Organization Congresses and The Business History Conferences”. Within the scope of the findings, a total of 139 researchers from 27 different universities who contributed to the field with their studies are listed. Quantitative contributions of cities and universities to the relevant field are shown. A methodological profile of business history studies is made. With the bibliographic coupling analysis, the most cited studies in the field are determined. The most emphasized topics in the national literature are determined and these are compared with the prominent themes in the international literature. In the national and international literature, more differentiation than similarity in terms of themes is drawn attention. It is argued that this differentiation may also be due to the national context dependence of historical studies, and that different topics may attract research interests in different institutional environments.
