E-öğrenme ile Değerlendirilmesi Evaluation of Pressure Injury Knowledge Level and Effectiveness of Training in Intensive Care Nurses with E-learning

Abstract

Abstract Background: This study was conducted as a quasi-experimental study to evaluate the level of pressure injury knowledge in intensive care nurses and the effectiveness of training using e-learning. Methods: The study was conducted with 72 nurses working in the intensive care units of a training and research hospital. Nurses were asked to fill out a questionnaire containing their sociodemographic characteristics and a knowledge level form. After the online wound care training, nurses were asked to fill out the knowledge level form again. Results: The total score that intensive care nurses received from the proposition consisting of forty questions regarding risk factors, identification, prevention and treatment of pressure injuries was 31.15±2.7 in the pre-test and 35.79±2.0 in the post-test. A statistically significant difference was found between the evaluations made to determine the nurses' knowledge level on preventing pressure sores (p<0.01). Conclusion: As a result of the study, it was determined that the intensive care nurses' knowledge level about pressure injuries was good and the applied training increased their knowledge level positively.

Yoğun Bakım Hemşirelerinde Basınç Yaralanması Bilgi Düzeyi ve Eğitimin Etkinliğinin E-öğrenme ile Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

Özet Amaç: Bu çalışma yoğun bakım hemşirelerinde basınç yaralanması bilgi düzeyi ve eğitimin etkinliğinin e-öğrenme ile değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yarı deneysel olarak yapıldı. Yöntem: Çalışma bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinin yoğun bakım ünitelerinde çalışan 72 hemşire ile yapıldı. Hemşirelerden sosyodemografik özelliklerini içeren soru formu ve bilgi düzeyi formunu doldurmaları istendi. Online düzenlenen yara bakımı eğitimi sonrasında hemşirelerden bilgi düzeyi formunu tekrar doldurmaları istendi. Bulgular: Yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin basınç yaralanmalarını risk faktörleri, tanımlama, önleme ve tedavi etmeye yönelik kırk sorudan oluşan önermeden aldıkları toplam puan ön testte 31,15±2,7 iken son testte 35,79±2,0 olarak saptandı. Hemşirelerin basınç yarasını önlemeye yönelik bilgi düzeyini belirlemek üzere yapılan değerlendirmeler arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark saptandı (p<0.01). Sonuç: Çalışma sonucunda yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin basınç yaralanması ile ilgili bilgi düzeyinin iyi olduğu ve uygulanan eğitimin bilgi düzeylerini pozitif yönde artırdığı tespit edildi.
