Bulantı ve Kusma

Abstract

Yoğun bakım üniteleri (YBÜ), komplikasyon riski yüksek olan, invazif girişimler yapılması ve solunum desteği verilmesi gereken hastaların normal vücut fonksiyonlarını sağlamak amacıyla tedavi ve bakımlarının sürdürüldüğü yerlerdir. YBÜ’de hastaların beslenmesini engelleyen, sıvı elektrolit kaybına neden olan, solunumsal komplikasyonları artıran bulantı ve kusmanın önlenmesi, tedavi ve bakımının iyi yönetilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu derlemede bulantı ve kusmanın nedenleri, fizyopatolojisi, tedavi ve bakımına kısaca yer verilmesi amaçlandı.

Nausea and Vomiting

Abstract

Intensive Care Units (ICU) are places maintaining nursing and treatment necessities for the purpose of ensuring the normal body functions of the patients with need of invasive procedures and respiratory support because of the high risk of complications. It is necessary to provide a wellmanaged nursing and treatment, prevent nausea and vomiting of the patients interfering with the nourishment and increasing the fluid and electrolyte loss as well as the respiratory complications. Within this study, it has been aimed to include the reasons, pathophysiology and the nursing and treatment of the nausea and vomiting
