JOB SATISFACTION RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN USE OF GLOVES ATTITUDE AND COMPLIANCE WITH ISOLATION PRECAUTIONS OF NURSES INTENSIVE CARE

Abstract

Objective: To determine relationship between job satisfaction.with gloves usage and compliance with ısolation precautions of nurse working in intensive care unit (ICU). Material and Methods: Descriptive and cross-sectional study in type April-May 2017, a total of 170 nurses working in the ICU were scanned files. As data collection tool form, compliance with Isolation Precautions, towards the Gloves Usage and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire scores was used.Results: Nurses was a high level of isolation compliance, a medium glove use attitude average, and a medium job satisfaction score. It was seen that there was a positive and moderate correlation between isolation compliance and glove use attitude and job satisfaction. Conclusion: ICU, job satisfaction improves performance, quality and therefore effective care. Isolation and use of gloves are important for effective maintenance
