Abstract

2023 Vizyon Projesi kapsamında İstanbul İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü’nün himayelerinde “İstanbul’un Tarihi Mektepleri Osmanlıca (eski Türkçe) Evrakının Arşivlenmesi ve Envanteri (1839-1928) Ar-Ge projesine, 5 Kasım 2018 tarihli valilik oluru ile başlanılmış ve söz konusu olur en son 7 Eylül 2021’te güncellenmiştir. Proje kapsamında İstanbul’un 39 ilçesine bağlı 40 tarihî okulda saha çalışması yapılmış ve hedeflenen bilgi, belge ve kaynağa ulaşılarak kayıt altına alınmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Cumhuriyet döneminin ilk mûsikî öğretmenlerinden biri olan, bestekâr, söz yazarı ve hatta ilk mektepler çocuk şarkıları ders kitabının yazarı olmasına rağmen hakkında çok az şey bilinen Cemil Türkarman’ın yaşamı, proje kapsamında ulaşılan sicili ve birincil kaynaklar ışığında ilk kez yayınlanacaktır. Bu çalışmanın diğer bir özelliği ise Cumhuriyet’ten Harf İnkılabına ilk/orta mektepler Mûsikî dersi müfredat programlarının ilk kez transkript edilerek alan literatürüne kazandırılmış olmasıdır. Özellikle ilk mektepler müfredatında; muasırlaşma adıyla batı kültürüyle donatılmış kendi yurttaşını yetiştirmek gayesiyle Türk Mûsikîsinin nasıl rafa kaldırıldığı, nesillerin üzerine güzel bir Türkçe yazılmış Fransız, Alman, Hollanda ve İskoç çocuk şarkılarıyla nasıl büyütüldüğü belgelere dayalı olarak ele alınacaktır.

Abstract

Within the scope of the 2023 Vision Project, under the auspices of the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, the "Archiving and Inventory of Ottoman Turkish (old Turkish) Documents of Istanbul's Historical Schools and Inventory (1839-1928) R&D project was started with the approval of the governorship dated 5 November 2018, and it is in question. last updated on September 7, 2021. Within the scope of the project, field work was carried out in 40 historical schools in 39 districts of Istanbul and the targeted information, documents and resources were accessed and recorded. In this study, the life of Cemil Türkarman, who is one of the first music teachers of the Republican era, composer, lyricist and even the author of the primary school children's songs textbook, about whom little is known, will be published for the first time in the light of his track record and primary sources reached within the scope of the project. Another feature of this study is that the curriculum of primary/secondary schools Music lessons from the Republic to the Alphabet Revolution has been transcribed for the first time and brought into the field literature. Especially in the primary school curriculum; How Turkish Music was shelved in order to raise its own citizens equipped with western culture under the name of contemporaneity, and how it was brought up for generations with French, German, Dutch and Scottish children's songs written in a beautiful Turkish will be discussed based on documents.
