Copyright, Licence and Open Access Policy

Copyright policy: The authors retain copyright in the article.

While uploading their articles, authors are required to sign the copyright form (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/download/journal-file/30814) and upload it through the Dergipark system.  By signing this form, the authors undertake the following:

a) The article submitted to the journal is the original work of the author(s),
b) That the corresponding authors have individually participated in this study and take full responsibility for this study,
c) All authors have seen and approved the final version of the submitted manuscript,
d) The article has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere,
e) The text, figures and documents contained in the article do not infringe the Copyrights of other persons.


New Media (Yeni Medya) Journal is open access. New Media Journal offers all content free of charge to its readers. Readers can access, copy and distribute the full text of all studies in the journal, except for commercial purposes.

  • Copyright of the published articles belongs to the authors.
  • The authors are authorized by the journal to publish the article and to identify themselves as the original publisher.
  • Any third party is granted the right to freely use the article, provided that the original authors and citations are acknowledged.
  • This license does not in any way infringe or limit the authors' right to protect the integrity and ownership of their work.
  • All commercial rights to the articles belong to the authors.
  • The authors grant permission for their submitted works to be published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, and they retain the copyright to these works.

As long as the terms of the license are met, anyone can use the freedoms mentioned:

The LOCKSS system digitally archives articles published in the journal and has this access permission.
