Abstract

İktisat teorisinin belki de en yanlış bilinen
iktisatçısı Leon Walras’tır.  Genel
düşünce, gerçekçi olmayan tam rekabet piyasasıyla genel denge analizini temel
alan soyut, matematiksel iktisadın öncüsü olduğu yönündedir.

Walras, Marksist olmayan sosyalist Neoklasik
iktisat geleneğinin de öncülerindendir. 
Görüşlerinin kalkış noktası sosyalizmdir ki onun da arkasında moral
iktisadı hakkındaki düşünceleri vardır.

Bu çalışmada, ilk olarak
moral iktisadı kavramı ele alınacak, daha sonra Walras’ın sosyalizmi
incelenerek, düşündüğü sosyalizmi gerçekleştirmede bilime yüklediği rol
değerlendirilecektir.
