THE DOCTOR TYPES IN REŞAT NURİ GÜNTEKİN'S NOVEL
Abstract
In this article, "doctor types" in Reşat Nuri Güntekin's novels are examined. "Doctor types" arc inıportaııt pcople in the novels of Reşat Nuri. Doctors are people of the novels who usually participate in the novel node points or definitive solution. In addition to their profession, doctors atract attentiontion with their aid to the principal persons of the novels. Doctors, who generally serve in Anatolia, pay close attention to their patients, help the local populace in various ways and are liked by them very much. Besides, some doctors who don't perform their duties well or those who caıı't integrate with the local people are also seen. Conclusively, we could say that doctor types in Reşat Nuri's novels generally are important people.
