42-year-old male admitted to the emergency department with penile swelling and hematoma after a sexual intercourse. The patient had gone under surgical exploration. There was not any problem in the integrity of tunica albugenia. The superficial dorsal vein which was ruptured was found and ligated. Postoperative sexual function and erection was completely normal. Rupture of the superficial dorsal vein of the penis occurs rare, but it must be kept in mind in the diagnosis of penile fracture in clinical conditions such as lack of sudden detumescence, painless penile swelling and hematoma.
42 yaşında erkek hasta ilişki sonrası penil şişlik ve hematom nedeni ile acil servise başvurdu. Hasta opere edildi. Tunika albüginea bütünlüğü tam idi. Rüptüre süperfisial dorsal ven bulundu ve ligate edildi. Postoperatif seksüel fonksiyon ve ereksiyon tamamen normal idi. Penisin süperfisial dorsal ven ruptürü nadir görülür ancak ağrısız şişlik ve hematom olması, ani detümesans olmaması gibi klinik durumlarda penil fraktür ayırıcı tanısında akılda tutulması gerekir.
