The COVID-19 infection seen in Wuhan, China for the first time in December 2019, rapidly spread all over the world and became a pandemic. So the skin symptoms of the disease were identified and started to be defined in the literature. The skin manifestations of the disease have been reported sporadically. These findings are often morbiliform eruption, urticaria, vesicular eruption, acral lesions and livedoid eruptions. Exanthematous eruptions associated with COVID-19 infection are highly heterogeneous and variable. Skin lesions are usually erythematous, urticarial and vesicular varicella like . Single case reports have also been reported in the form of petechial rash, livedo reticularis, pernio-like lesions and oral HSV-1 reactivation. Large-population studies have not yet been performed on the role of skin lesions in early diagnosis and their relationship with disease progression. Some of these skin findings have been reported to have been seen earlier than symptoms associated with COVID-19. Therefore, it is predicted that skin findings may be among the initial symptoms of COVID-19 infection. Data on skin manifestations of COVID-19 infection will be useful for early diagnosis of the disease, proper management and evaluation of patients. In this review, skin symptoms associated with COVID-19 infection are summarized.
