Abstract

Bu yazıda, Türkiye'deki üniversitelerin tüm bölümlerinde 1934'ten beri zorunlu olarak okutulan, şimdiki adıyla "Atatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılâp Tarihi" derslerinin hangi nedenlerle, nasıl başladığı ve bugüne kadar nasıl bir seyir izlediği konuları tarihsel arka planda açıklanmaya çalışılmaktadır.

'Turkish Revolution Courses' in Turkish Universities: a short history

Abstract

This paper examines the present day course 'Atatürk Principles and Revolution History' that has been being taught at all the departments of the universities in Turkey since 1934. We tried to shed light on why the course started and what kind of progress it went through within the historical background.
