Abstract

This is a book review focused on the Turkish translation by Mehmet Albayrak of the book (2017 edition) written by Abraham Flexner and published by Princeton University Press, Princeton, NJ, USA. This easily readable book consists of two chapters and 75 pages. Abraham Flexner gained fame with the report he prepared by examining the medical schools in Canada and the United States in 1910 and thus made a significant contribution to the education provided in medical schools. This article features no abstract because it is a book review.

Abstract

Bu makale Abraham Flexner tarafından kaleme alınan ve Princeton University Press, Princeton, NJ, ABD yayınevinin yayımladığı kitabın Mehmet Albayrak tarafından yapılan Türkçe çevirisinin 2017 baskısını ele alan bir kitap değerlendirmesi yazısı içermektedir. Rahat okunabilen bu kitap iki bölümden ve 75 sayfadan oluşmaktadır.
Abraham Flexner, özellikle 1910 yılında Kanada ve Amerika Birleşik Devletlerindeki tıp fakültelerini inceleyerek hazırladığı rapor ile akıllara kazınmış ve tıp okullarının eğitimine katkı sağlamış isimdir. Bir kitap değerlendirmesi olan bu makalede özet bulunmamaktadır.
