Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Erodium cicutarium (L.) L’Hér.’un A, D, E, K vitamin içerikleri ile fitosterolleri incelenerek, organik asitleri değerlendirilmiştir. E. cicutarium (L.) L'Hér.’un yağda çözünebilen vitamin profili, retinol (0.20 μg/g), retinol asetat (Vitamin A1 3.76 μg/g), α-tokoferol (2.86 μg/g), δ-tokoferol (0.40 μg/g), Vitamin K1 (11.7 μg/g), Vitamin K2 (5.80 μg/g), Vitamin D2 (1.16 μg/g) ve Vitamin D3 (2.30 μg/g) gibi önemli bileşenleri içermektedir.

Abstract

This study investigated the vitamin A, D, E, and K contents, phytosterol composition, and organicacid profile of Erodium cicutarium (L.) L'Hér. The fat-soluble vitamin profile of E. cicutarium (L.) L'Hér. includes significant components such as retinol (0.20 μg/g), retinol acetate (Vitamin A1, 3.76 μg/g), α-tocopherol (2.86 μg/g), δ-tocopherol (0.40 μg/g), Vitamin K1 (11.7 μg/g), Vitamin K2 (5.80 μg/g), Vitamin D2 (1.16 μg/g), and Vitamin D3 (2.30 μg/g). Furthermore, the phytosterols identified in the plant include ergosterol (17.6 μg/g), stigmasterol (10.90 μg/g), and β-sterol (130.83 μg/g). Analysis of the organic acid content revealed the presence of eight different acids: oxalic, citric, malic, succinic, formic, acetic, fumaric, and propionic acids. Acetic acid (19469.54 mg/kg) was found to be the most abundant organic acid, followed by succinic acid (55812.37 mg/kg). Oxalic and fumaric acids were detected in the lowest concentrations. The diverse pharmacological activities exhibited by the components identified in this study highlight the importance of the widespread use of Erodium cicutarium (L.) L'Hér.
