Abstract

Antenatal dönemde makroglossi saptanmış birfetusu bildirmekteyiz. Doğumda bu anomali ile ilişkili hava yolu obstruksiyonu riski dikkatli bir yönetim planlamamızı gerektirdi. Orofaringeal tümör ve makroglossi gösterilmiş olgularda başarılı perinatal sonuçlar için multidisipliner bir ekip eşliğinde elekti/ doğum planlanmasının doğru olacağını düşünüyoruz.

Prenatal diagnosis and perinatal management of a fetus with macroglossia and oral cavity mass

Abstract

We report a fetus with an oral cavity mass with macroglossia detected antenatally. The risk of airway obstruction, which is related with this abnormality, prompted us to plan careful management. We believe that, in cases of demonstrated oropharyngeal tumors and macroglossia, elective delivery must be planned with a multidisciplinary team involvement to improve perinatal outcome.
