Öz

Tam dişsiz hastalarda protezyapımında üst ön altı dişin seçimi ve yerleştirilmesi estetik gereksinimlerin sağlanması için önemlidir. Doğal dişler ve çekim öncesi kayıtlar bulunmadığında yapay dişlerin büyüklüğünün değerlendirilmesi karmaşık bir durum göstermektedir.Literatürler incelendiğinde gülümseme estetiği için üst ön yapay diş seçimine ve yerleştirilmesine yardımcı olacak üç farklı matematiksel bağıntının varlığından bahsedilmektedir. Bu derlemede bu matematiksel bağıntılar incelenmiştir.Üst ön yapay dişlerin büyüklüğünün belirlenmesinde bu yöntemlerden yararlanılabilir. Tam protezlerde estetiğin sağlanması için matematiksel oranların kullanılmasında ırk gruplarına göre standartlar oluşturulmalıdır.

USE MATHEMATIC PROPORTION FOR MAXILLAR ANTERIOR TEETH IN ESTHETIC OF COMPLETE DENTURE

Öz

Selecting and setting up the six maxillary anterior teeth in edentulous patients are important in establishing esthetic. The choice of artificial teeth is complex, when no natural teeth remain and no pre-extraction records are available. There are three different mathematical proportions mentioned in dental literature for choosing and setting up the anterior artificial teeth in smiling esthetics. These mathematical proportions areassesed in the review. As a conclusion, when evaluating the size of maxillar anterior artificial teeth these methods can be used. In order to provide esthetics, using mathematical ratios in complete dentures standarts should be based on ethnical groups.
