Sağlık Okuryazarlığı ve Hemşirelik

Yıl 2019, Cilt: 28 Sayı: 3, 216 - 221, 02.08.2019

Çağlar boyu gelişim gösteren sağlık
sistemi, toplumun sağlık okuryazarlığı oranının artması ile iyileşmeye devam
edecektir.
hemşirelere düşmektedir. Hasta ile birebir iletişimde olan hemşirelik mesleği;
Bunun sonucunda
hemşirelerin hasta ile iletişimi kuvvetlenecek, hastalarda sağlık bilinci tam
anlamıyla yerleşecek, sağlık bakım kalitesi artacak, sağlığa ayrılan bütçe
azalacak ve sağlık sistemi gelişim göstermeye devam edecektir.

The health system will continue to improve
with increasing age-related health literacy. Particularly in the last century,
access to information about the health of the community in the healthcare
system, which has made patient-centered care a target, has made it possible to
understand and evaluate this information, both in raising the quality of health
and making a visible difference in the development of health. Work on health
literacy, which has become a public health problem, has been accelerated all
over the world, especially in the European countries. Health literacy is
defined, categorized and developed in different forms. The aim of the studies
is to raise the awareness of health and the quality of health care in parallel
therewith. The greatest share in this regard falls to health personnel and
nurses. The nursing profession, which is in contact with the patient in person;
Based on the independent roles that he has, he undertakes training and
counseling in the provision of care and services, such as placement of health
consciousness, appointment cards, proper use of medicines. Health literacy,
which is also linked to the literacy rate of the society, is increasing with
the awareness of the health responsibility of the person. The awareness of
nursing profession members who play a key role in this awareness on health
literacy in both individual and educational field should be increased. As a
result, nurses' communication with the patient will be strengthened, health
awareness will be fully established, health care quality will be increased,
health budget will be decreased and health system will continue to show
improvement.
