Öz

Testiküler kanserler, tüm erkeklerde görülen malignitelerin % 1 ini oluşturan nadir görülen tümörlerdir.”- Burned-out testüküler kanser” germ hücreli tümörlerin ekstragonadal metastazı ve primer lezyonun spontan regresyonu için kullanılan bir terminolojidir. Bu olguda inguinal lenf nodu metastazı ile birlikte burned-out testiküler tümörü olan 33 yaşında erkek hastayı sunmayı amaçladık. Hastaya sol yüksek inguinal orşiektomi operasyonu uygulandı.

Patolojisi burned-out germ hücreli tümör olarak raporlandı. Makroskopik incelemede hiyalinize skar benzeri lezyon gözlendi ve mikroskopik olarak tümör gözlenmedi. Uygun tedavi yaklaşımı açısından intragonaldal ve ekstragonadal testis tümörlerinin tanısının konulması çok önemlidir.

Burned-Out Testicular Tumor With Inguinal Lymph Node Metastasis: A Case Report

Öz

Testicular cancer is rarely seen cancer and constitutes nearly 1% of all male cancers. The ‘burned-out testicular tumor’ term is used for presence of extragonadal metastasis of germ cell tumor and the spontaneous regression of the primary lesion. In this case we aimed to present a 33 year-old male patient with burned-out testicular tumor with inguinal lymph node metastasis. Left high inguinal orchidectomy operation was performed for this patient.

The pathology result was reported as burned-out germ cell tumor. On gross, a hyalinised scar-like lesion was reported and any tumor never been observed microscopically. The diagnosis of intragonadal and extragonadal testicular tumors are very important for arranging the appropriate treatment.
