Bilateral Accessorıes Submandibular Gland

Abstract

An 11-year-old female patient presented with painless swelling in the right submandibular region. Ultrasonography of the neck showed accessory submandibular glands in the right and left

submandibular gland supermomedial. At the MRI examination of the neck; The nodular structure of accessory submandibular gland was observed in the medial-superior segment of both submandibular glands. We aimed to present this rare entity in the presence of radiological findings.

Bilateral Aksesuar Submandibular Gland

Öz

On bir yaşında kadın hasta sağ submandibular bölgede ağrısız şişlik şikâyeti ile başvurdu. Yapılan boyun ultrasonografisinde, sağ ve sol submandibular gland süperomedialinde, aksesuar submandibular glandlar izlendi. Boyun MRG incelemesinde; Her iki submandibular gland medial-süperior kesiminde aksesuar submandibular glanda ait nodüler yapı izlendi.
