A Sociological Analysis On Sports; Sports Centers (Samsun Example)

Abstract

Sports undertake a variety of functions such as fun, entertainment, gain and happiness, especially in the social field. Therefore, the choice of sports of every kind for members of the community becomes obvious based on both societal population components and social values and norms. In this respect, sports and sports halls gain diversity and normative features by feeding from the culture of each society. In this context, gyms help every individual who aim to improve physical fitness, rationalization of sports and making sports gain an institutional rationality. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the functionality of the gym both theoretically and practically within the framework of various population components.

SPOR ÜZERİNE SOSYOLOJİK BİR ÇÖZÜMLEME: SPOR MERKEZLERİ (SAMSUN ÖRNEĞİ)

Öz

Spor, toplumsal alanda başta sağlıklı kalma olmak üzere haz, eğlence, kazanç ve mutluluk gibi çeşitli işlevler üstlenmektedir. Bu nedenle toplumun üyeleri için her türden spor tercihi, hem toplumsal nüfus bileşenlerine hem de sosyal değer ve normlara bağlı olarak belirginleşmektedir. Bu itibarla spor ve spor salonları her toplumun kültüründen beslenerek çeşitlilik ve normatif özellikler kazanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda spor salonları, fizik kondisyonu iyileştirmeyi amaçlayan her bireye, sporun rasyonalite edilmesine ve kurumsal nitelik kazanmasına imkan sağlamaktadır. Araştırma, Spor salonlarının işlevselliğini çeşitli nüfus bileşenleri çerçevesinde hem teorik hem de pratik olarak değerlendirmeyi hedeflemektedir.
