Türkiye’s UAV and UCAV Exports In 2021–2025 Period: A Product and Country Based Analysis Under Hs Code 88

Öz

This study examines Türkiye’s exports of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) during 2021–2025 using official foreign trade data, with particular attention to product groups, destination countries, and customs tariff codes. A descriptive survey design within a qualitative research approach was adopted, using secondary data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). Tables were used to assess Türkiye’s total exports, exports under Chapter 88 and tariff headings 8802–8807, and the export values and unit counts of UAV and UCAV platforms. The findings indicate that Türkiye’s UAV and UCAV exports derive strength both from complete platforms and from components, parts, and subsystems. They also show growing product and market diversity in Türkiye’s aerospace and defense exports and the increasing importance of UAV technologies.

2021–2025 Döneminde Türkiye’nin İHA ve SİHA İhracatı: GTİP 88 Kapsamında Ürün ve Ülke Bazlı Analiz

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, 2021–2025 döneminde Türkiye’nin insansız hava araçları (İHA) ve silahlı insansız hava araçları (SİHA) ihracatını resmi dış ticaret verileri çerçevesinde inceleyerek ihracatın ürün grupları, ülke dağılımı ve GTİP bazındaki gelişimini değerlendirmektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel tarama modeli benimsenmiş; Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) ile Stockholm Uluslararası Barış Araştırmaları Enstitüsü (SIPRI) tarafından yayımlanan ikincil veriler kullanılmıştır. Analiz kapsamında Türkiye’nin toplam ihracatı, 88 numaralı fasıl, 8802–8807 GTİP pozisyonları ile İHA ve SİHA platformlarının değer ve adet bazlı ihracat verileri tablolar aracılığıyla değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, Türkiye’nin İHA ve SİHA ihracatının yalnızca tamamlanmış platformlardan değil, aynı zamanda aksam, parça ve alt sistem ihracatından da güç aldığını göstermektedir. Ayrıca, Türkiye’nin havacılık ve savunma sanayii ihracatında ürün çeşitliliği ile pazar çeşitliliğinin arttığını ve İHA teknolojilerinin önem kazandığını göstermektedir.
