Microbiota and Reproductive Health in Cows

Yıl 2019, Cilt: 8 Sayı: 2, 674 - 677, 01.06.2019

Öz

Background/Aim: In studies of human reproductive track microflora, the prescription for reproductive ductility emphasized the role of dominant microorganisms in the prevention and treatment of genital infections and these studies have led to work in the veterinary area. In the literature survey, there are several works performed by culture or metagenomics analyses on investigation of association between microbial flora and genital channel health and pregnancy in cows. In this review, genital microbial flora of cows determined by culture- depended and in depended analysis and their relationships with reproductive outcomes are detailed.
