A Faunistic Study of Polyphaga (Helophoridae ve Hydrophilidae) Families in Erzurum Swamps, Turkey

Abstract

In this study, it has been evaluated the specimens belonging to the Helophoridae and Hydrophilidae collected from Erzurum Swamps. The specimens have been collected from various localities determined from Erzurum Swamps, between May 2016-October 2017. Important taxonomic characters of the descripted species have been photographed, Turkey and worldwide distribution are presented together. Totally, 15 taxa have been determined in the research area which of them 8 species belonging to the Helophoridae and 7 species belonging to the Hydrophilidae.
