Unilateral Incompatibility

Öz

If an interspecific cross succeeds in one direction, but the reciprocal cross fails, this is called unilateral incompatibility. Unilateral incompatibility usually prevents self-incompatible species from accepting pollen or pollen tubes of self-compatible species. But there are numeorus cases where one-way crossability has been found not only in crosses of self-compatible and self-incompatible species but also between two self-compatible or two self-incompatible species. To explain these cases, two hypotheses were put forward. In this article, it was tried to explain the basis of these two hypotheses and genetic control of unilateral incompatibility, according to these two hypotheses.

Tek Taraflı Uyuşmazlık

Öz

Yapılan türler arası bir melezleme bir yönde başarılı olurken bunun karşılığı olan melezleme başarılı olmuyorsa, karşılaşılan durum tek taraflı uyuşmazlık olarak isimlendirilir. Tek taraflı uyuşmazlık normalde kendine kısır (SI) türlerin kendine verimli (SC) türlerden pollen alımına engel olmaktadır. Fakat aynı olayın iki SI veya iki SC tür arasında meydana geldiği de bilinmektedir. Bu durumu açıklamak amacı ile 2 temel hipotez ortaya atılmıştır. Bu derlemede bu 2 temel hipotezin dayandığı esaslar açıklanmaya çalışılmış ve bu hipotezlere göre tek taraflı uyuşmazlığın genetik kontrolü tartışılmıştır.
