“BİLİYORUM BU YARA HİÇ KAPANMAYACAK” İSİMLİ ŞİİRDE ÇİFTE HAZ İSTEMİNİN NEDENİ
Öz
Cezmi Ersöz’ün “Biliyorum Bu Yara Hiç Kapanmayacak” isimli şiiri, bir şiir öznesinin şahsında ifadesini bulan çifte haz isteminin nedenini, kendini yeterince bilmeme durumu olarak görünüşe çıkaran bir metindir. İlk gençlik yıllarında ebeveyni tarafından anlaşılıp sevilmeyi beklerken hayal kırıklığına uğrayan şiir öznesi, istenmeyip cezalandırıldığını düşündüğü için hüzünlü, kırgın ve hırçın bir durumdadır. O, böyle bir durumda iken bir genç kadınla tanışır ve sevgili olur. Onun da kendisi gibi ailesi tarafından incitilmiş olduğunu anlayınca çözülür ve mutluluğunu bozmak için durumunu ona olduğu gibi itiraf eder. Cezmi Ersöz's poem, "I Know This Wound Will Never Heal," is a poem that reveals the reason for the double desire for pleasure expressed in the person of a poetic subject as a state of not knowing oneself sufficiently. The poem's subject, disappointed by the expectation of being understood and loved by their parents in their early adolescence, feels unwanted and punished, leading to sadness, hurt, and rebelliousness. While in this situation, he meets a young woman and they become lovers. When he realizes that she, too, has been hurt by her family, he can't control himself and confesses his situation to her, just to ruin her happiness. After this frantic confession, her lover understands what she is up against and, realizing that she cannot have a future with the poet, who is as wounded as herself, leaves her. The abandoned poet, rejected not only by his mother but also by another person he loved, is harshly confronted with his own reality and forced to make a choice among the possibilities that open up. There are two main possibilities before him: He will either see that there is someone who deliberately disrupts his happiness and creates loss and damage, or he will maintain his current situation as it is. Either they will realize that they are someone who needs and is dependent on love because they weren't loved, and they will overcome that, or they will remain that way. The poetic subject, standing at the limits of possibility, chooses to remain in a state of double pleasure, consisting of punishing both himself and others. The reason he wants to remain a pleasure-seeker is because he doesn't know himself well enough. This essay argues that the deepest reason behind the poet's subject's choices is a lack of self-knowledge.
