The conservative treatment of diaphseal femur fractures in children

Abstract

The result of 39 femoral shaft fractures treated in department of orthopaedics and traumatology clinics, of Universty Hospital between 1983-86 were reviewed and compared with the similar reports in the literature. At the end we obtained very good results in 33 (84.6%), good result in 3 (7.6%) and poor result in 3 (7,6%) patients.
