Results of second-Iook arthroscopy after partial meniscectomy and meniscus repair

Abstract

During the last 10 years, 182 second-look arthroscopy have been performed on patients whe have had partial menisectomy before. Of those, 107 were operated by classical arthrotomy and 75 by arthroscopy. In 30 out of 182 control arthroscopies pathological gigns were noticed at patially resected. Lesion was the result of a trauma in 6 cases of 30 rest menisces. The rest, 24 of the 30 cases, either had lacerated meniscus fragments left after the first operation or had postop, degeneration of the rest meniscus tissue, with no history of trauma.

Parsiyel menisektomi sonrası bırakılan meniskusda oluşan değişmeler - Kontrol artroskopisi sonuçları

Öz

Son on yılda, önceden parsiyel menisektomi geçirmiş hastalarda 182 Second-look-Artroskopi yaptık. 182 olgunun 107 si klasik artrotomi ile, 75 i artroskopik yöntemle ameliyat edilmişlerdir.182 kontrol artroskopisinin toplam 30 unda parsiyel rezeke edilmiş meniskuslarda patolojik bulgular tespit ettik. Bu 30 restmeniskusun 6 sında, lezyon bir travma sonucu oluşmuştu. Diğer 24 vakada ya ilk ameliyatta bırakılmış yırtık meniskus parçalan ya da restmeniskus dokusunun ameliyat sonrası bir travma ile olmayan dejenerasyonu söz konusu idi.
