The role and effectiveness of the meyers operatıon in the femoral neck fractures

Abstract

Eleven Meyerso perations which were performed in SSK Istanbul Hospital, Orthopedics and Travmatology Clinİc were formed our series. Femoral head vascularity of these parients, was appraised postoperatvely by Tc 99m SC scintigraphy. The patients were also followed to the criterio of time of union, position of union. Shartening, gait and function. As a result in one patient late segmental collaps, In another one nonunion was seen. We confirmed 82% excellent results, 9% avasculer necrosis end 91% union.
