Flexor tendon healing
Abstract
Flexor tendons, which are vascularized structures, maintain their basic feeding by synovial fluid. Healing of flexor tendons is achieved bey internsec and extrensec mechanism. Reducing adhesivity to a minimum level is achieved by dominated intrensec healing; thus for obtaining better results of heoling continuity of synovial sheath is to be maintained, mability of the tendon through its use at earlier stage is to be provided, and suturing of the tendon by a suitable technique is to be done.
