Local muscle flaps
Öz
Local muscle flaps are being widespreadly used in the treatment of pseudoarthrosis, open fractures, osteomyelitis andreconstructive surgery. For better under standing of this technique, it is necessary to have an idea about the circulation, the pedicules and the rotation area of the muscle.
The vascular origin androtation area of the flaps which are commonly used is being researchedin the amputation material where the hip disarticulation is done for treatment of osteogenetic sarcoma in femur.
