Total knee arthroplasty in rheumatoid patients

Öz

In this study, we report 34 total kneee arthroplasties in 25 rheumatoid patients. 30 knees were followedup for an average of 17.1 months. Average knee score was 28.5 preoperatively 875 postoperatively. Average knee society function score was 20.8 preoperatively, 62.4 postoperatively. Average total rangd of motion increased from 8.3° to 102.9° postoperatively. We recommend the use of cement mixed with radiopaque material to avoid difficulties in the radiographic evaluation of the arthroplasty.

Öz

Bu çalışmada 25 romatoid hastaya uygulanan 34 total diz artroplastisini sunmaktayız. 30 diz ortalama 17.1 ay takip edilmiştir. Ortalama diz skoru preop 28.5, postop 87.5'dur. Ortalama Diz Cemiyeti fonksiyon skoru preop 20.8, postop 62.4'dir. Ortalama total diz hareket açıklığı 68.3°'den postop dönemde 102.9°ye yönelmiştir. Artroplastinin radyografik değerlendirilmesindeki zorluklardan kaçınmak için çimentonun radioopak materyal ile karıştırılması tavsiye edilmektedir.
