Öz

Yenidoğan omuz septik artritinin tanısı güçtür. Tanıda klinik muayenede gözden kaçabildiği gibi, özellikle doğum travmasına bağlı brakial pleksus lezyonu ile sıklıkla karışır. Eğer zamanında doğru tanı ve tedavisi yapılırsa yenidoğana özgü olan bu hastalık sekelsiz iyileşir.

Öz

Diagnosis of shoulder septic arthritis in newborn has some difficulties. It can be overlooked on clinical examination, also confused with brachial plexus palsy. If adequately diagnosed and treated, shoulder septic arthritis which is almost specific for newborn can be cured without sequela.
