Primary hemiarthroplasty in the treatment of intertrochanteric hip fractures with straight stem endoprosthesis

Öz

Between 1990-1995, in primary hemiarthroplasty with Muller Straight Stem Endoprosthesis was performed in highly osteoporotic and elderly 48 patients with intertrochanteric fractures. Mean follow-up period was 22 months (ranging between 6 months and 32 months). According to Modified Harris Hip Scoring system we obtained excellent, good and fair results in 85.4 % patients, and poor result in 14.6 patients.

1990-1995 yılları arasında kliniğimize müracaat eden, yaşlı ve ileri derecede osteoporozu olan intertrokanterik kırıklı 48 hasta primer olarak Müller Modüler baş düz saplı endopratezi konularak tedavi edildi Takip süremiz en az 6 ay, en çok 32 ay olmak üzere ortalama 22 aydır. Hastalarımız klinik olarak postoperatif de-vrede Harris kalça skoruna göre değerlendirildi. Buna göre %85.4 hastamızda çok iyi, iyi ve orta sonuç, %14.6 hastamızda ise kötü
