Benign soft tissue tumors and tumorous conditions of the hand

In this study, we reviewed 40 patients with benign soft tissue tumors in the hand in our clinic between 1993-1996. In all cases, tumors were removed totally. Recurrences in 2 patients, decrease in range of motion in 3 cases and anesthesia in 1 case were seen. As a result we think, that recurrences and complications also can occur even after care ful surgery.

Bu çalışmada, 1993-1996 tarihleri arasında kliniğimize müracaat eden 40 iyi huylu el yumuşak doku tümörlü olan hasta incelendi. Bütün vakalarda total eksizyon uygulandı. 2 vakada nüks görüldü, 3 vakada hareket kısıtlılığı, l vakada ise parmakta duyu kaybı gelişti. Sonuç olarak elde yerleşim gösteren tümörlerde öncelikle benign-malign ayırımı yapılması gerektiği, benign tümörlerde dikkatli bir cerrahiye rağmen nadir de olsa nüks ve komplikasyon olabileceği düşüncesindeyiz.
