Hip arthroscopy
Abstract
Hip arthroscopy can now be applied for both diagnostic and surgical purposes with the help of advanced techniques and improved instrumentation designs. It is a relatively new procedure compared to the arthroscopy for other joints. There are only a few centers which perform hip arthroscopy on routine basis and many orthopaedic surgeons who are eager to start doing it in their own centers. In this review article we have given a historical perspective and discussed the technical details and clinical applications with literature support.
