Gelişimsel kalça displazisinin tek seansta cerrahi tedavisi sonrası asetabuler gelişme

Öz

Bu retrospektif çalışmada 16 ay- 60 ay yaş grubunda gelişimsel kalça displazisileri tek seansta açık redaksiyon; femoral kısaltma, varizasyon, derolasyon osteotomisi ve Salter’in pelvik osteotomisi ile tedavi edilen 15 hastanın 20 kalçasında alınan sonuçlar değerlendirildi. Asetabuler indekste, ameliyattan hemen sonra, ortalama 11.20, takipte de 6.2°'lik düşme gözlendi. Bu düşüşün, ameliyat sonrası asetabulumun remodelizasyonunu gösterdiği düşünülerek, tek seansta asetabuler ve femoral düzeltmenin asetabulumun remodelizasyon şansının yüksek olduğu erken yaş grubunda yapılmasının daha iyi sonuçlar vereceği kanaatine varıldı.

Acetabular development following the one-stage surgical treatment of the developmental hip dysplasia

Abstract

In this retrospective study, we reviewed the end results of the one stage open reduction, femoral shortening, varization, derotation and Salter osteotomy for the 20 hips of 15 patients with developmental hip dysplasia. Postoperatively 11.2° , on follow up an additional 6.2° decreases of the acetabular index values were measured. We assumed that decrease of the acetabular index on follow up reflected the remodelization of the acetabulum. We concluded that one-stage femoral and acetabular correction carried out in younger patients whose acetabuli had greater remodelization potential would provide better results.
