Spinal kord lezyonlu hastalarda rehabilitasyona ne zaman başlanmalı? (Derleme)

Öz

Spinal kord lezyonlu hastaların olay anından itibaren nöroşirurji, ortopedi ve travmatoloji, fiziksel tıp ve rehabilitasyon uzmanlarının katıldığı multidisipliner bir ekip yaklaşımı ile tedavi, rehabilitasyon ve takibi gereklidir. Bu yolla hastanın maksimum fonksiyonel kapasite ve bağımsızlığa ulaştırılabilmesi, başarılı bir mesane ve bağırsak rehabilitasyon programının uygulanabilmesi ve komplikasyonların önlenebilmesi sağlanabilir. Bu makalede inkomplet paraplejik bir hasta sunularak, bu konu tartışılmaktadır.

When to start rehabilitation of spinal cord injured patients?

Abstract

It is essential that the treatment, rehabilitation and follow-up of the spinal cord injured patients from the time of injury should be performed with a team approach including the specialists of neurosurgery, orthopedics and traumatology, and physical therapy and rehabilitation. By this way the achievement of the maximum functional capasity and independence of the patient, the performance of a successful bladder and bowel management programme, and the prevention of the complications should be provided. This subject is discussed by reporting an incomplete paraplegic patient in this article.
