A Peliminary Report of the Cakirgil, Radikal Reduction Method in Late Congenital Dislocation of the Hip

Abstract

In our clinic 33 hips in 25 children were treated by Çakrgil radical reduction method between 1984-1985. In early period 4 redislocation occured, one of them was reducted in second operation range of motion was severly restricted in 9 hips, excellent and good results were taken from other 25 hips. Our opinion that this type of operation is very satis-factory in some late cases if they operated on by proper technique.
