Indications of open reduction in non-fradured traumatic posterior dislocation of the hip

Abstract

Non-fractured traumatic posterior dislocotion of the hip either can not always be reduced by closed reduction of can not be concentrically reduced. In 4 out of 19 cases with non-fractured traumatic posterior dislocation of the hip who applied to the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Medical School of the İstanbul University during the years 1970-1983, it was obligatory to perform open reduction. The reason why open reduction was effected is that attempts failed to maintoin reduction in one and concentric reduction in tree of these cases. In the first cose in which open reduction was effected, it became evident that the capsule captured the femur head in just the same way as a buttonhole would, and that M. Priformis closed the entrance to the acetabulum, where as in the other tree cases, the ruptured labrum was inverted and osteocartilaginous appeared in the acetabulum.

KIRIKSIZ TRAVMATİK ARKAYA KALÇA ÇIKIKLARINDA AÇIK REDÜKSİYON İNDİKASYONLARİ

Öz

Kırıksız travmatik arkaya kalça çıkığı, kapalı yöntemle ya her zaman redükte olmakta, ya da konsantrik redüksiyon sağlanamamaktadır. 1970-1983 yılları arasında İ.Ü. İst. Tıp Fak. Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dalına başvuran, kırıksız travmatik posterior çıkığı olan 19 olgunun 4 ünde açık redüksiyon yapılma zorunluluğu doğmuştur. Bu olgulardan 1inde redüksiyon, 3 ünde konsantrik redüksiyon sağlanamadığı için açık redüksiyon yapılmıştır. Açık redüksiyonda ilk olguda kapsülün femur başını düğme iliği gibi sardığı ve M. Priformisin asetabulumun ağzını kapattığı, 3 ünde ise yırtılan labrumun içeriye katlandığı ve asetabulumda osteokartilajinöz parçaların yer aldığı belirlenmiştir.
