Öz

Ortopedik deneysel çalışmalarda, deney hayvanı olarak kullanınılan tavşanın anatomik ve fizyolojik özellikleri ile bakım ve beslenmesi konusunda genel bilgiler verildikten sonra anestezisi ve cerrahi girişimler için gerekli koşullar belirtilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bunun dışında, tavşan kemiğinin mikroskobik incelenmeye hazırlanmasinda ve mikroskobik kantitatif değerlendirmede kullanılabilecek basit yöntemler verilmiştir.
