Problem of dislocation and its treatment encountered post-total hip replacement arthroplasties

Öz

In 223 total hip replacements, it was noted that 12 (%5.38) dislocated postoperatively. This was usually related to improper positioning of the patient postoperatively.

Öz

Kürsümüzde 1967-1979 yılları arasında yapılmış olan 223 total protez ameliyatından sonra gelişen 12 dislokasyon olgusu (%5,38) nedenleri yönünden gözden geçirildi. Dislokasyonların sorumlusu olarak gösterilen asetabuler ve femoral hatalı oriyentasyonlar retrospektif olarak incelendi. Bu arada diğer nedenler arasında, ameliyatın yapıldığı ilk kritik günlerdeki hatalı davranışlara ve daha önce müdahale görmüş kalçalarda riskin daha fazla olup olmadığına değinildi. Bu olgulardaki tedavi yöntemi literatür taraması yapılarak kıyaslı bir şekilde verildi.
