Compression arthrodesis in the treatment of tuberculosis of the knee joint by Charnley method
Abstract
In this study results of compression arthrodesis in the treatment of tuberculosis of the knee joint in 22 cases in our clinic between the yars 1959-1976, has been discussed and reviewed in respect to other arthrodesis technics. We decided to do this operation as soon as possibie in adults, but in children it must be done only if we have to. The results of our operations are % 100 good in adults and % 83,4 good and % 16,6 poor in children.
