Breakage in the plate and screws are among the common problems failure may came out in the fixations made after osteosynthesis and osteotomy, before sufficient callus arrised in the bone. Here it is presented an evidence releated to the breakage of screws, arrised in 8th month after the operation.

Osteosentez ve osteotomi sonrası yapılan fiksasyon bazen kemikte yeterli kallus meydana gelmeden bozulabilir. Plak ve vidaların kırılması en önemli problemler arasındadır. Varizasyon osteotomisi yapılan bir hastada postoperatif 8. ayda vidaların kırılması ve pseudoartroz meydana gelmesi sebebiyle vaka takdim edildi.
