Öz

In this paper in severely communuted fracture of femur case, which was treated by -BALANCED SUSPENSION SKELETAL TRACTION SYSTEM- succesfuliy is presented. Such fractures are not rare and usually occur in violent traffic accidents or severe traumas which are usually complicated with deep shock, fat embolism, anemia and muitiple other body injuries as well.

Bu yazıda çok parçalı bir femur diafizi kırığının dengeli iskelet traksionu ile tedavisi sağlanan bir örneği verilerek, bu metodun yerinde kullanıldığında iyi sonuçlar verebileceğine ışık tutulmak istenmiştir. Bu tip kırıklar günlük pratikte oldukça sık rastlanan ve ciddi travmalarla oluşan kırık tipleridir. Genellikle derin şok, yağ embolisi, anemi ve diğer organların ciddi yaralanmaları ile birlikte gorüldüğünden dikkatli ve en uygun yöntemin seçilmesi önemine değinilerek, vakanın tedavi takibini gösteren radyogramların fotoğrafları sunuldu.
