Siber Flört İstismarı, Beden İmgesi ve Benlik Saygısı Arasındaki İlişki

Öz

Bu araştırmada, siber flört istismarının beden imgesi ve benlik saygısıyla
ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi, yaş ortalamaları erkeklerde
22.82 ve kadınlarda 22.94 olan 458 kişidir. Araştırmada verilerin toplanmasında
Siber Flört İstismarı Ölçeği, Çok Yönlü Beden-Self İlişkileri Ölçeği ve
Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, siber
flört istismarının doğrudan saldırganlığa maruz kalma alt boyutu ile beden
imgesinin fiziksel yeterlilik yönelimi alt boyutu arasında pozitif yönlü ilişki
tespit edilmiştir. Siber flört istismarı ile beden imgesinin diğer boyutları
arasında ilişki olmadığı saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, siber flört istismarının
doğrudan saldırganlık uygulama, doğrudan saldırganlığa maruz kalma, izleme ve
kontrol uygulama, izleme ve kontrole maruz kalma alt boyutları ile benlik
saygısı arasında negatif yönlü ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bunun yanında,
siber flört istismarı uygulamanın ve siber flört istismarına maruz kalmanın,
cinsiyete, romantik ilişki durumuna, internette geçirilen süreye göre farklılık
gösterdiği bilgisine ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları literatür çerçevesinde
tartışılmış, elde edilen sonuçlara göre araştırmacılara ve psikolojik
danışmanlara önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
