RAPID RURAL APRAISAL METHODS: A CASE STUDY OF ALPAĞUT VILLAGE (SEBEN, BOLU)

Öz

Rapid Rural Apraisal (RRA) is a strong method for rural area investigation. Continuosly developing and spreading, this method has been commonly used in as much as it is relatively low-cost,
multidisciplinary and participatory. In this research, RRA method is explained briefly and applied in the case of Alpağut Village, Bolu. Results indicate that the village can be developed through livestock raising and recreation-tourism. The paper is concluded with relevant suggestions.

Öz

Hızlı Kırsal Değerlendirme (HKD), kırsal alanlardaki araştırmalar için güçlü bir yöntemdir. Sürekli gelişmekte ve yayılmakta olan bu yöntem zaman açısından ve maliyet olarak avantajlı olması, multidisipliner bir yaklaşım içermesi ve katılımcılık özellikleriyle yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu araştırmada HKD tekniği kısaca tanıtılmış ve Alpağut Köyü, Bolu örneğinde uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda köyün hayvancılık ve rekreasyon-turizm yönünden kalkınabileceği saptanmış ve bu konularda önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
