ADAPTATION OF TURKISH PARENTAL ATTITUDE SCALE FOR RUSSIAN-SPEAKING CULTURES

Öz

The aim of the study is provide to a parental attitude scale to educators and researchers in Russian-speaking societies. The adaptation language is Russian. Because Russian is used official language in Belarus, Kazakstan and Kyrgyzstan and also it is spoken in the others Central Asian countries. For this purpose, a scale which has completed validity and reliability study in Turkish has chosen and it has been made adaptation in complance with principles of scale adaptation. 394 Turkish, 189 Kyrgyz and 138 Russian parents participated in the research. Kyrgyz and Russian parents live in Bishkek. According to the result of analysis committed in scale of the language reliability, Cronbach alpha values ​​for the four subscales have; .89, .78, .76 and .57, respectively. It has been calculated as 2.71  for the sample of Turkey, 1.31 for the sample of the Russia 1.31 and 2.67 for the sample of Kyrgyzstan. It has been seen that the datum had corresponded to the model magnificently, due to the χ2/sd value was smaller than 3 for each three samples. Factor onus values ​​belong to three sample groups; it has calculated as .80 for the sample of Turkey, .78 for the sample of Russia and .79 for the sample of Kyrgyzstan. As a result, it has been seen that parental attitude scale has academical properties and it can be used by educators and researchers in Russian-speaking countries.

TÜRKÇE EBEVEYN TUTUM ÖLÇEĞİNİN RUSÇA KONUŞAN KÜLTÜRLER İÇİN UYARLANMASI

Öz

Ebeveyn tutumları, üzerinde çok sayıda araştırma yapılmasına rağmen güncelliğini sürdürmektedir. Bu durumun en önemli sebebi; günümüz şartlarındaki hızlı değişime uygun olarak anne baba tutumlarının da değişmesi zorunluluğudur. Bu çalışma; Rusça konuşan toplumlardaki eğitimcilere ve araştırmacılara ebeveyn tutum ölçeği kazandırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Uyarlama dilinin Rusça seçilmesinin sebebi Belarus, Kazakistan ve Kırgızistan’da resmi dil olmak üzere, diğer Orta Asya ülkelerinde de konuşuluyor olmasıdır. Bu amaçla Türkçe olarak geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması yapılmış bir ölçek seçilmiş ve ölçek uyarlamanın ilkelerine uygun olarak, Rusça uyarlaması yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi 394 Türk, 189 Kırgız ve 138 Rus anne babadan oluşmaktadır. Kırgız ve Rus anne babalar Bişkek’te yaşamaktadırlar. Dil güvenirliği sağlanan ölçek üzerinde yapılan analiz sonuçlarına göre dört alt boyut için Cronbach alfa değerleri; .89, .78, .76 ve .57 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Uyum endeksi değerleri; Türkiye örneklemi için 2.71, Rusya örneklemi için 1.31 ve Kırgızistan örneklemi için 2.67 olarak hesaplanmıştır. değeri her üç örneklem için 3’ten küçük olduğundan verinin modele çok iyi uyum gösterdiği görülmüştür. Üç örneklem grubuna ait faktör yük değerleri ise; Türkiye örneklemi için .80, Rusya örneklemi için .78 ve Kırgızistan örneklemi için .79 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak Rusça’ya uyarlaması yapılan ebeveyn tutum ölçeğinin Rusça konuşulan ülkelerde eğitimci ve araştırmacılar tarafından kullanılabilecek bilimsel niteliklere sahip olduğu görülmüştür.
